Learn how the power of Christian affirmations can lead you to a life you deserve, the life God has designed for you!
Have you ever wondered if the path you are on is coming from God?
Have you ever had moments of uncertainty, looking to God desperately to figure out if you should decide A or B?
Or maybe you are like me and you have realized that you allow doubt and uncertainty to creep in and you want to figure out how you can stop forgetting that, when it comes to your life, God’s got your back?

Maybe, also like me, you have been chasing towards something and it feels like you are trying to run up a tree… no matter how much effort you are putting in, you aren’t getting where you want to go.
The power of positive affirmations are an incredible tool but if we aren’t intentional about it, they leave one very key element out of the equation: God.
Affirmations, manifesting goals and the law of attraction all have loads of information out there about how effective they are in helping you design a life you love.
But you know what, I think the spot where many of us get it wrong is when we become preoccupied with our own inner strength.
And then we sit back and wonder why God hasn’t answered our prayers.
And this is coming from a person who used to pride themselves on their strength and ability to conquer whatever is thrown at her…
If you find yourself typing the word ‘ affirmations for Christians ‘ into a search bar, then you most likely fall into one of two categories:
1)You have used affirmations as a strategy to achieve or overcome something before.
2)You want to achieve or overcome something and need to develop a strategy to help you get there.
What are Positive Affirmations?
Simply put, affirmations are positive statements regarding a goal (of any kind) in it’s accomplished form.
Let’s dive into that statement a little more though because you might be thinking, “wait a sec.. goals? Well, I don’t want to write a book or become a CEO or even run a marathon so affirmations might not be for me”.
Sis, yes they are!
I promise affirmations can be used to help you get from point A to point B on literally anything!
And in my world, goals don’t have to mean some status of fame or fortune.
A goal means you have identified somewhere, something or some place in your life that you want to be and you current aren’t there.
A goal to stop gossiping.
A goal to be more attentive in your marriage.
A goal to be a more patient mom.
A goal to reduce your sugar.
A goal to have more confidence.
A goal to have more trust in God.
Goals come in all shapes and sizes and they close all kind of gaps in our life.
Secondly, you’ll notice up above that my wide variety of affirmations are expressed as if it has already happened.
Come to find out, your brain actually can’t differentiate between something that has actually happened (goal being accomplished) or you just saying the goal as if it has happened (affirmations).
This is exactly why the term “manifesting goals” is a real thing!
You can tell your brain anything and it will go to work helping you get there.
After chasing many goals, achieving some and falling short of many, I have realized that I was leaning on my own strength and desires.
With the help of Christian affirmations, I have been able to stay focused and grounded in my faith, directing my inner dialogue to God and the plans He has for my life, seeking the goals He puts in front of me.

Women’s Positive Affirmations: The Statement That Changed It All For Me!
“how do I know if this is from God?”
“Is this where you want my attention to be, God?”
Sadly, the fact that I kept asking myself those questions actually just continued to make me feel more uncertain.
I felt more and more doubtful, yet I was looking for the answers often.
While I am a huge fan of using Christian affirmations in all aspects of my life now, in the beginning I didn’t quite see how my faith and personal development journey could work in partnership.
Then, after I kept catching myself worrying and saying these type of statements, I realized that I could blend my faith journey and personal development tools!
Re-grounding myself in my identity in Christ, yes please!!
Wohooo!!!
I seriously screamed out loud because I realized that affirmations were a tool that could help me close this feeling of uncertainty in my faith.
Use the power of positive affirmations to keep you focused on your identity in Christ!
And that my friend is how these two particular affirmations came about:
1)I am CERTAIN of the path God has me on.
This Christian affirmation keeps confidence in God at the forefront of my mind. When I begin to wonder about things going on, decisions made or what the future holds, I remind myself that I am CERTAIN of the path God has me on.
2)God aligns my heart, actions and desires towards fulfilling His plans for my life.
This affirmation keeps me grounded in seeking His will and not just pushing forward on my own desires.

Self-worth seems to be something many of us Christian woman walk a delicate balance on so I’m going to use the topic of self-worth to demonstrate how to create your own positive Christian affirmation!
Whenever I question who am I in Christ by doubting my own self-worth, turning to Biblical affirmations helps me to reground myself in the image God has of me.
Scriptures on self-worth may not be new to you but let’s see how pairing that scripture with a Christian affirmation statement works for you next time you are questioning who am I in Christ?
I Am Affirmations examples: Bible Affirmations
Here is a list of positive Christian affirmations:
1-When you are feeling stuck, unable to move past a bad habit, unhealthy relationship or toxic mindset:
Read: Romans 8:1-2
Say: I am set free of all things that held me back!
2-When you feel like you aren’t good enough:
Read: John 15:1 and 5
Say: I am living a life designed by God to bear fruit!
3-When you feel like you can’t forgive or move past something that was done to hurt you:
Read: Matthew 6:14-15
Say: I give forgiveness to others just as God freely gives me His forgiveness and grace.
You’ll notice I tossed in the associated scripture reading (which I often will use to guide my prayer journaling for that day!) so you can see how I took a feeling and used scripture to pull out Christian affirmations from the Bible to close the gap!
Your turn:
Step 1: Pay attention to how you are feeling or where you are at (point A) and where you want to be (point B).

Step 2: Write out where you want to be (point B) as if it has already happened!
Step 3: Pray over it and dive into scripture to help cement that feeling of where you want to be (point B)
Step 4: Say (and write!) your new Christian affirmation often, especially anytime you feel (point A) starting to creep up on you!!
