You Are Loved
“You are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you.”- Isaiah 43:4
“God is within her, she will not fall.” Psalm 46.5
“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.”- John 15:9
Being loved can mean your dog runs up to you every time he sees you, your husband embraces you every morning before you walk out the door with a big hug or you have the worlds best group of friends that are always there for you.
You have the things I mentioned above, the pup is at your feet the second you walk in the door and those sweet kids of yours shower you with half colored art work and sticky fingers every chance they get.
But despite all of that, you feel doubtful.
Honestly, to answer this question you are going to need to look the one place we all try and avoid looking until the very last option: inward.
- How is your self esteem? If you aren’t really sure that improving your self esteem would be helpful, check out these often forgotten symptoms of self esteem just incase.
- God has already promised his love for you, my friend. So sit back and soak in all his wonderful strength on these days.
What the Bible Says:
God demonstrates his love for us not only through His words, but through his actions; holding our hand as we walk through life.
As long as we are holding on tight, he will not let us fall!
Unfortunately, we are humans and full of sin so there are times we become disobedient and our grip loosens. And in those moments, we fall.
If you find that you are trying to stand after a fall, know that the fall is not a sign that God does not love you.
But instead ask yourself if you let the grip loosen too much?
You Are Worthy
“The Lord will fight for you; you only need to be still.”- Exodus 14:14
“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”- Luke 12:6-7
“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you. He will never leave or forsake you. Do not fear or by dismayed.”- Deuteronomy 31:8
According to the dictionary, synonyms for worthy are valuable, admirable, precious and worthwhile.
Do you see yourself in this light?
Do you understand how valuable you are in God’s eyes?
Since becoming a parent, I have often wondered how painful it is for God to see me experience negative feelings.
In those moments where i fall weak, where I let the darkness in: begin to doubt our worthiness, fighting that feeling of never enoughness.
I know that it would sadden me to know one of my children was experiencing these feelings, even if it was just a hiccup on a bad day!
I would do anything I could to make my children feel better; to help them see themselves the way I see them.
And God does the same thing for you.
He gives us these encouraging bible verses to remind us just how worthy we are.
Afterall, how could you be unworthy when you have the highest power of all fighting for you?
Promises of being fought for, never abandoned and labeled as valuable.
Seems to me that unworthy is the exact opposite of how God sees you, so take peace knowing that you ARE worthy.
You Are Enough
“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”- Zephanian 3:17
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”- Ephesians 2:10
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”- Proverbs 3:5-6
Synonyms for enough include:
Abundant
Sufficient
One word expresses having plenty and the other leaves the feeling of just barely enough.
No wonder we often struggle with the feeling of never enoughness, right?!
I call it the ‘constant nagging feeling of never enoughness’ because I think it is a war, not just a battle. The feeling comes and goes routinely and while we may never be able to fully get rid of it from trying to come in, we can certainly strengthen our ability to keep it out.
To do that, you will need to learn how to strengthen your relationship with God and grow your self confidence . This will give you the behaviors and strength to stay grounded in knowing that you are truly loved and plenty worthy enough in the eyes of God.

Now that we’ve been reminded of God’s love for us through these encouraging bible verses, it is really important that you take notice of where these feelings come from.
The enemy.
I know it might not seem that way, but these feelings really don’t even come from you!
It is the devil who loves to plant these seeds of doubt, unworthiness and leave you questioning yourself; throwing fuel on the small fire he created until chaos occurs in your mind and heart, and ultimately your life.
He KNOWS how worthy and loved you are; you are God’s most precious child.
Bottom line, he is a jerk.
He will do anything he can to take away glory from God, including you feeling your best, happiest and most fulfilled self.
Why would the devil want you out there living you best life?
He definitely does not!
Whenever we give him a window he is going to jump in and try and leave as much damage as possible so its our job to figure out when he sees our weak spots and work to strengthen that.
I have found that my window is easier to open when I hit one of these 3 triggers:
- I’m more tired than normal
- When I’ve made a lot of bad food decisions, so I feel gross and bloated
- When I am feeling outside of my comfort zone
It has been a journey to learn to keep the window shut!
